PROFILE OF CHAKA PRIAMBUDI
Chaka Priambudi Wicaksono is a Double Bass player from Jakarta, Indonesia. He studied music at Institute Music Daya Indonesia from 2006-2010, majoring in double bass with Donny Sundjoyo and Piano as a minor instrument with Jelia Megawati Heru.
Currently Chaka is emerging as the current generation of young bassist potential. He began to frequently appear everywhere, supports many musicians and bands. Among others, he appeared with Robert MR, ranging from the guitarist's solo album, Gratitude, in 2012 he also supports group Monica Tahalea & The Nightingales, from the album Songs of Praise in 2013.

He also supports a singer and guitarist, Glenn Waas, for performances beginning of his solo titled Mind Traffic in years ago. He also played in the Indra Quintet feat. Jenny de Fretes for the album, Embrace the Moment. And this year, he successfully released his first solo album, #1. He played in a trio format for the solo album.
He is a member of many jazz groups such as Riza Arshad Trio, Sandy Winarta Quartet, Robert MR Quartet. Besides that, he also plays as sideman for many Indonesian female singers like Mian Tiara, Monita Tahalea, and Sierra Soetedjo. Chaka also contribute in Karen Pooroe single, 'Forgive Me' in 2010. He is also a member of Jakarta Concert Orchestra with conductor Avip Priatna.
He also formed a different band, which plays traditional Indonesian and Betawi colors, with elements kromong xylophone, accordeon, trumpet, flute, and langgam nuances, called as "LANTUN ORCHESTRA." Lantun orchestra plays pieces from Jali-Jali, Sirih Kuning, Hujan Gerimis, Aryati, until Dayung Sampan in combination of lively humorous vocalist by Nesia Ardi and the refreshing delightful modern arrangement in the format of mini orchestra.
