"TANTANGAN MENGAJAR MUSIK DI ABAD KE-21" - by: Jelia Megawati Heru, Staccato (September 2014)

"TANTANGAN MENGAJAR MUSIK
DI ABAD KE-21"

WELCOME TO THE 21st CENTURY!
Just “google” it! Kita juga senantiasa dapat terhubung dengan orang lain di belahan bumi yang lain kapan saja, dimana saja dalam hitungan detik. Tersesat? Nyalakan saja GPS di handphone Anda! Ingin mengetahui kabar teman dan kerabat Anda? Cek saja di media sosial! Ingin menonton video musik dari Berliner Phillharmony? Check it on youtube!

Treble Clef, Music Notes & Piano RAINBOW LOOM DIY

TREBLE CLEF, MUSIC NOTES
& PIANO RAINBOW LOOM DIY

It seems rainbow loom fever mode is in the air. A lot of my students gave me their masterwork pieces recently, that related to music. Personally, I find it really inspiring. So, I decided to make a post about the tutorial DIY that music related. I mean sometimes they told me, that drawing treble clef is hard for them, but now they're making treble clef out of rainbow loom? Okay, that's something I haven't see everyday ^_^

WHAT IS A RAINBOW LOOM?
Rainbow loom is a plastic loom used to weave colorful rubber bands into bracelets and charms. The Rainbow Loom kit includes a pegboard, a rainbow loom hook, 24 special C-shaped clips, and 600 small rubber bands in assorted colors. It was invented in 2011 by Cheong Choon Ng in a Malaysian immigrant of Chinese descent who came to the United States in 1991 to attend Wichita State University, where he earned a graduate degree in mechanical engineering. Targeted at children aged 8 to 14, Rainbow Loom became a popular pastime in summer camps and summer clubs in 2013, according to The New York Times and Today. Even though there's a lot of issue about its safety hazard for the fake and cheap ones. It doesn't make the fans stop to create their creative art. My advice is buy the original one, that safety hazard child-proof and made of non toxic material. Don't forget to wash your hands, every time you want to eat something! That's the standard procedure!
